Resources Cranmore Locomotive Depot has a large and well equipped workshop, which allow a large range of jobs to be undertaken. The workshop undertakes all maintenance and running repairs for the East Somerset Railways locomotive fleet, as well as locomotive restoration work. Only specialist jobs and large item manufacture have to be outsourced.A workshop is only as good as the people who use it and the ESR is blessed with a dedicated group of volunteers. The depot is managed by the Locomotive Superintendent, Steve Masters. |
