| How can you help ? The ESR workshops and volunteers are more than capable of the work required to complete the planned projects, but funds are needed to allow purchase of the necessary materials and external services. These funds can only be raised by donations and so any sum will help.All donors will receive a regular newsletter detailing progress to date on the current restoration projects, together with a certificate expressing our thanks for their generosity. The current restoration project is the LB&SCR E1 No.110, and other benefits are available depending on the amount donated -
Donations can be made by filling out the Donation form and can be made via a cheque, online using a credit card, or via a standing order. Please Note: The donations you make will be prioritised for the maintenance and restoration of locomotives for use by the East Somerset Railway, but may be used at the discretion of the Trustees and Directors. The E1 is the first locomotive to be restored using this fund. The East Somerset Railway may make further information and offers available to you at its discretion.
